• When you sign in with Google, MacSide AI handles sign-in information such as an account identifier, email address, and display name.
• When you purchase a paid plan, MacSide AI handles purchase status, subscription status, and payment history provided by payment services such as Stripe. Credit card numbers are handled by Stripe and are not stored by MacSide AI.
• When you contact support or report an issue, MacSide AI may handle your message, logs, OS information, and device information needed to investigate the request.
• Work data handled in the app, such as clipboard history, screenshots, OCR results, notes, recordings, images, and files, is generally processed or stored on your Mac. Unless you choose to send or share it, this content is not automatically sent to the MacSide AI operator.
• On the website, MacSide AI may use services such as Google Analytics to understand page views, device information, and general usage so the site can be improved.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide MacSide AI, verify accounts, confirm purchase status, enable Pro features, and manage subscriptions.
• To investigate issues, provide support, maintain security, improve the service, and analyze usage.
• To send important notices about the service, policy changes, payments, and accounts.

3. Local Data and Permissions

MacSide AI is designed to keep everyday work data on your Mac where possible. Data used for clipboard history, screenshots, OCR, recordings, notes, file processing, cleaner scans, and typing sounds is generally processed or stored locally.

macOS permissions such as Accessibility, Input Monitoring, Screen Recording, and Full Disk Access are used only to provide the relevant app features. Content you enter into external AI services or web services is handled under the policies of those services.

4. Third Parties and External Services

We do not provide personal information to third parties without consent except where required by law. MacSide AI may use external services where necessary to provide the service, including Google sign-in, Stripe, Google Analytics, support tools, and AI or web services that the user chooses to use.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect collected information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, and leakage.

6. Access, Correction, and Deletion

If you request access, correction, suspension of use, or deletion of your personal information, we will verify your identity and respond in accordance with applicable laws.
